Not a Pleasant Experience
All hell breaks loose the moment you are told that you have been turned down for a job whether it is HR jobs in India or design engineer jobs in India. For sure, it is never a pleasant experience. Multiple thoughts start swarming across your mind, the first thing you start ruminating upon is, did you want the job in the first place at all. If this goes on to happen over and over again the rejection becomes all the more difficult to handle. Now what is the best way to handle the situation? To cope really well with the non-acceptance we need to dissect the exclusion threadbare, the whole thing can be broken down into three distinct parts.
Vent out Your Feelings
When looking for a job, be it jobs for students or jobs for freshers, always keep this in mind, the first and the most important thing is to get over the rejection. The next important thing is to analyze your candidacy, once and for all. The last thing and the most prudent thing to do is to move ahead with a fresh frame of mind. When you get down to dealing with rejection, you must get over the bitter taste that the whole situation has left in your mouth literally speaking. Do this by sharing the disappointment, frustration, the seething anger, that naturally accompanies any sort of loss, more so the loss of a golden opportunity in a demeaning manner, dealing a body blow of sorts. Make it a point to vent out your feelings by sharing with a family member or friend in an empathetic confidential setting.
Hiring is Subjective
At the same time ensure that you do not go ahead and say something negative to the employer in the heat of the moment seething with anger. Saying your loss is against propriety and established norms of professional conduct, besides you may want to re –apply at the same place at some point of time in the future. Bear in mind that most searches are quite competitive and this naturally leaves many talented candidates, just like you, rejected as only one person can get the job, who happens to be the best fit, even though by a slight degree. Hiring decisions are quite subjective as any best job search site would tell you, and it is entirely possible another recruiter might have hired you right away.
